The 2026 Polar Plunge is officially in the books — what a night it was!
This year’s event took place on Friday, February 27th, at the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre, where energy was high, and spirits were even higher. Leading the charge was the world-famous Polar Brrrs — a team of 17 fearless coaches and athletes proudly representing LWSO Swimming. Their enthusiasm, courage, and team pride made this an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.
While final numbers are still being tallied, we are thrilled to share that $66,214 has already been raised — an incredible show of community support. Our LWSO Polar Brrrs raised a phenomenal $5,120, the second-highest total of any team. Well done Brrrs!
To everyone who donated, cheered, volunteered, or took the plunge: thank you. Your generosity makes a real difference, and we couldn’t do this without you.
