Rhythmic Gymnastics is one of the most exciting sports in Special Olympics — and once you see it, you'll understand why!

When the music starts and an athlete takes the floor, something magical happens. Ribbons soar, hoops spin, balls bounce, and clubs twirl — all with incredible balance and focus. Sport and art all become one!

For LWSO athletes, it's about so much more than competition. Every routine builds confidence, creativity, and self-expression. And the best part? No two performances are the same — every athlete brings their own unique personality and style to the floor.

We are so proud of our Rhythmic Gymnastics athletes. They show up, they work hard, and they shine. At LWSO, we celebrate every single one of them — because they truly are amazing! 

With all the hard work and dedication from the coaches, LWSO is sending not one but two athletes to represent Team Ontario at the Canada Games in Medicine Hat.  Yanhong (kneeling on left) and Breanna (standing left), well done!
